Brick Walls to Digital Bridges: The Journey of Miki Farmer
From a rustic farming village in Punjab to the bustling streets of Singapore and now to Australia, Miki Farmer’s story is a testament to resilience, creativity, and transformation.
Arriving in Singapore in 2017, Miki had no English, no capital, and no roadmap—only persistence. With an iPhone, he began freelancing as a photographer, turning his passion into teaching by 2019. That same year, he honed his communication skills working as a booth promoter for a digital wallet pitching to strangers and sharpening his entrepreneurial edge.
These experiences laid the foundation for The Miki Farmer Studios (TMFS International Pty Ltd)a social media agency focused on helping local businesses grow their digital presence. He also created Beyond Selfies, a course that trained nearly 300 students in social media side hustle strategies.
Now based in Australia, Miki channels his journey into helping international students and local brands navigate the digital landscape with confidence and authenticity. His mission is clear: to serve as a bridge—between tradition and innovation, between passion and purpose, and between startups and sustained growth.
